Excel Baseball would like to recognize Justin Camp for signing a baseball scholarship with Auburn University.  Camp is a senior right-handed pitcher at Austin High School in Decatur, AL.  Justin has played in the Excel program since 2009, where he has been a major contributor to the team’s success.  He has been invited to the Team USA 18u National Team trials; one of only eight players chosen through the Team USA NTIS (out of more than 1000 participants from all over the country).   

 Justin throws a low 90’s fastball to go along with a very good slider and change-up.  Justin is a great kid and a very hard worker and will only continue to improve after high school as he begins his career at the next level.  Justin will join former Excel Alum, Caleb Bowen (Catcher/Saks HS), at Auburn.    We are excited for Justin and would like to wish him the best of luck.
