Georgie Salem (OF, Vestavia HS, 2012) has verbally committed to play baseball at the University of Alabama. Georgie is a very talented five-tool player with great speed, a 94-mph arm from the outfield and the ability to hit for average with his power at the plate. Georgie will join former Excel Alums Trey Pilkington and Carey Baxter, as well as fellow teammate Mathew Goodson, at Alabama.
